This is the three borders region, where Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam meet. One may see the inhabited lands around the cities of Pleiku and Kontum.
The the Capital Gia Lai Province is Pleiku. In these pictures, the lower Plateau is clearly divided from the higher plateau on which Kontum Province rests. The Capital of Kontum Province is the City of Kontum.
Further north past the Dak Uy Valley is Dak To Town. Most clearly seen in map sections 1 and 2 is cultivated land around Highway 14, which runs North-South. East-West highway 19 follows below the high plateau from Cambodia through Pleiku to the coast.
In the far north are the forested regions of Kontum and Quang Nam Provinces. These are the only areas of the Central Highlands to have significant stands of undistrubed forest.
