The National Heritage Foundation's VicGold genealogy database contains information about individuals (638,000) and families (98,000) extracted from the Victorian Registrar's birth, death and marriage certificates and early church records for families who immigrated to Victoria, Australia. It describes persons who were married or had at least one child prior to1860. The database covers Victoria's gold rush era.
