Paul:

A. production of two treatments (each approximately 1000 words):
1. Introduction/promotional mpeg/s for site, detailing aims and significance
2. mpeg-based annotation of entries of Cook/Banks/Hawkesworth recounting the responses of people at Matavai to the construction of Fort Venus.

B. Picture Research National Library I'll start this Monday a.m., and will be on hand to meet Chris when he comes over. Get photo copy of Cook Journal

C. Arrange for materials to be archived with David and Chris in suitable formats.

D. Investigate loan of storage media for mpeg production.

E. preparation of html files of Cook/Banks/Hawkesworth text and text annotations for 13 April 1769 - 9 June 1769.

F. Contact National Museum re: Cook cannon

G. Arrange interviews with Nicholas Thomas, Greg Denning and Bronwyn Douglas.

Chris:

A. Contact Kerry Webb ACSys, for meeting

B. Develop project documentation (in progres)

C. Update existing web site (in progress)

D. Go to NLA with Paul on Monday to check visual resources

E. Investigate SGML DTD and Adobe Framemaker integration (in progress)

F. Update and hyperlink Flash interactive maps

David:

A. continue work on javascripting (?)

B. research javascripting window controls for notes and related texts (?)

C. visit ACSys with Chris (date to be advised)
