The great volatility of online information means that by now some of the older (and originally well functioning) Internet addresses reported by the Monitor may have changed, or disappeared altogether. Furthermore, it is not feasible for the Monitor to keep track of the ongoing changes in the many thousands of the reviewed sites and to have their details retrospectively corrected and adjusted. Issues stored below provide a snapshot, a one-time view of the Asian Studies' online resources the way they existed at the time of their review. Fortunately, since early 1996, most of the WWW universe is now systematically recorded and permanently archived by "The Internet Archive", a brainchild of Brewster Kahle, San Francisco, USA. Therefore, in order to view the no-longer existing copy of a resource listed by the Monitor, please consult
"The Internet Archive's" WayBack Machine (unveiled in October 2001) at the www.archive.org address - Editor.
Please note that the AS WWW Monitor does not necessarily endorse contents, or policies of the Internet resources, which it abstracts.
