Maine. Fifteen more films will be added in April 1998, along with selected sound recordings related to the war. The Spanish-American War is notable for being the first U.S. war in which the motion picture camera played a role. The Library already held 10 boxes of papers donated by Professor Fitzgerald in 1976, and these are listed as MS 5189 [..]. The latest consignment includes drafts of publications and lectures, and the transcript of an interview with Professor Fitzgerald.
