[...] [The program] offers undergraduate students a comprehensive nine week, six credit program for the study of Tibetan language, history, and culture, situated in Tibet. It combines two weeks in Tibet's capital Lhasa and neighboring urban areas, two weeks in various rural areas on the high plateau of Central Tibet (the Tibetan Autonomous Region), and four weeks across the Eastern Tibetan region of Kham (Sichuan Province).
