Ancient Chinese Art from Sichuan
Seattle Art Museum, Seattle, WA, USA
Self-description: "'Treasures from a Lost Civilization: Ancient Chinese Art from Sichuan' - In a major collaboration between the State of Washington and the People's Republic of China, the Seattle Art Museum presents an exhibition that features a stunning archaeological discovery of a lost world. These works give voice to ancient China, but they present more questions than they answer. This web site is a virtual way for visitors to explore the questions online and post their own theories."
Supplied note: "Images of the works in the exhibit, held from May to Aug 2001."
