Title: Katalog beranotasi, koleksi Perpustakaan Nasional RI: Annotation (sic) catalog collection of National Library of Indonesia. Jakarta, Perpustakaan Nasional RI, 2002. xi, 249p. 28cm. ISBN 979 9316 677.
Coverage: An annotated catalogue of 500 selected books published in Indonesia between 1998 and 1999. Continues previous similar work published in 1999. Works are in all fields - philosophy, religion, social sciences, pure and natural sciences, history, etc., including translations into Indonesian. Annotations are in Indonesian.
No. of items: 500
Structure: Arranged in classified order according to DDC. Author/title and subject indexes. Full bibliographical details provided.
Evaluation: Intended as a means of providing other Indonesian libraries and the general public with information about recent acquisitions, in a handy format. The work should prove valuable for inter-library borrowing and lending, but as a selection tool would be limited given the small print-runs of many Indonesian publishers. Also of some value as a current awareness service for the general public
