Title: A preliminary descriptive catalogue of the manuscripts of the Kraton Yogyakarta. 2 volumes. Yogyakarta, Proyek Mikrofilm Kraton Yogyakarta, Kantor Wilayah Departemen Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Propinsi D.I.Y., 1987. Unumbered pages.
Coverage: Provides details of the MSS. of the Widya Budaya and the Krida Mardawa Collections in the Kraton of Yogyakarta as microfilmed in 1985 and 1986. Entries consist of the microfilming notes, or "target sheets", which provide full details of each manuscript and its microfilm copy, including annotations on the contents of the manuscript.
No. of items: approximately 700
Structure: The sheets containing the notes are arranged according to the microfilming project number, that is, roughly thematically. Supplementary list, inserted, includes list of the coloured manuscripts, though fewer details are provided than in the master list. Bibliography.
Evaluation: While extremely detailed, "...it must be stressed that this catalogue is still preliminary". (Preface). Unique, invaluable source of information about these important collections (c.f. Indonesian edition, ID 032).
