Coverage: As the country with the third most extensive forests in the world (after Brazil and Zaire), Indonesia's publications on forest management are of national importance. Community (public) forestry is developing after the exploitative private enterprise policies of the New Order. The list is based mainly on collections in Yogyakarta. Includes books, journal and newspaper articles, seminar and discussion papers, as well as theses. Mostly on Indonesia but there are some references to other Asian countries. Publications were mostly printed in the 1980s and 1990s.
