Coverage: Reports relating to Dutch New Guinea between 1824 and 1889 which are to be found in the Ternate Residency archives, now housed in the Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia. Includes extracts from the documents. The documents mostly consist of reports on the political and economic situation in New Guinea, or on the relationship between New Guinea and the Ternate residency. They may also include observations on such topics as society, health, religion and trade.

Evaluation: Extremely valuable guide to the data on 19thC Netherlands New Guinea and on the Moluccas.
