Those included are writers about which research has been undertaken at Pusat Bahasa for the purpose of filling gaps in publically available information.

No. of items: 30

Structure: Entries arranged chronologically, according to date of birth. Each entry contains information on the author's family, education and occupation(s). Then follows details of their literary activities, followed by a list of works (according to format). Each entry concludes with a bibliography of studies of the author's works and guides to sources of additional information.

Evaluation: Valuable source of information from the leading Centre for language and literature study in Indonesia. Limited by the number of authors covered. On several occasions the bibliographical details are only basic, but most include place, publisher and date.
