"The Pacific Studies WWW Monitor" (ISSN 1443-8976) was established 12 April 2000. It is modelled on its sister publication Asian Studies WWW Monitor which was established in April 1994. The periodical forms a key element of the global, cooperative project Pacific Studies WWW Virtual Library.

[...] The Legal Information System of the Federated States of Micronesia includes: * the national Constitution and the constitutions of each of the FSM's constituent states: Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Yap; * for the nation and for each state the code of aws, judicial decisions, rules of court, and selected administrative regulations, well organized by a user-friendly index of drop-down menus; * the Compact of Free Association, establishing the current relationship between the United States, on the one hand, and the FSM (as well as the Republic of the Marshall Islands); and * a collection of historical legal documents, including the Trusteeship Agreement for the Japanese Mandated Islands, under which the FSM and most of the rest of Micronesia were governed by the United States from 1947 until recent years."
