"The Pacific Studies WWW Monitor" (ISSN 1443-8976) was established 12 April 2000. It is modelled on its sister publication Asian Studies WWW Monitor which was established in April 1994. The periodical forms a key element of the global, cooperative project Pacific Studies WWW Virtual Library.

'Time to Talk' website on governance in the Pacific
Radio Australia, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Melbourne, Australia.
Supplied note: "'Time to Talk' - a radio series and Internet website on governance in the Pacific. The 13-part 'Time to Talk'’ radio series is currently broadcast in weekly episodes on Radio Australia in English and Tok Pisin. The series will be repeated on RA from 16 March 2002. To accompany the radio series, Radio Australia has established an interactive website in both English and Tok Pisin [at the URL below] Visitors to the website can read transcripts or listen to audio files of each of the 13 radio programs once they have gone to air. [...]
The Time to Talk website also contains a range of background articles and opinion pieces, with contributors from around the region: from a high school student in Tonga to the Vice President of New Caledonia; a former High Court judge in Fiji and the first woman to win a seat in Vanuatu's Parliament. The website has detailed references and Internet links, and an interactive forum to allow people in government, educational institutions, NGOs and community organisations to discuss and debate issues of governance in the region."
