Self-description: "This conference is third in an ongoing series and will explore the impact of the war on terrorism on the security perception about and within the island states. Specifically, the discussion will investigate whether the island states are 'stepping stones' or 'stumbling blocks' in the new war, the vulnerabilities in the island states that can be addressed through regional/international cooperation, and the evaluation of immigration in regional security planning."
