"Yumi Yet
A significant collection of Baku and Bougainville art, on loan from the Australian
Museum Sydney, will present works that demonstrate a dynamic and evolving culture.
[...]
The exhibition will comprise a diverse range of objects such as canoes, paddles, spears,
bows and arrows, jewellery, sculptural clan totems, fishing and hunting items, secret
ceremonial objects, and musical instruments.
Yumi Yet is on show at the Macquarie University Art Gallery [...] from 9th
September until 9th October [2002]."
