"An online resource for students, scholars and policy-makers interested in South China Sea regional development, environment, and security issues. [...] This site is edited and maintained by David Rosenberg, Professor of Political Science, (rosenberg--at--middlebury.edu). It began as a student-faculty collaborative research project at Middlebury College, with mapping and graphic design provided by Ben Humphrey, '99. It was launched on the Internet [at http://community.middlebury.edu/~scs/ - ed.] after development in the Department of Political and Social Change, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies (RSPAS), at the Australian National University (ANU), in 1998-99 [...] This website is part of the Asian Studies WWW Virtual Library (http://coombs.anu.edu.au/WWWVL-AsianStudies.html) which provides an authoritative, continuously updated hypertext guide and access tool to scholarly information resources on the Internet."
