The author of the site, Dr Marcus Bingenheimer - MA (Sinology) and PhD (History of Religions) from Wuerzburg University and an MA (Communication Studies) from Nagoya University - is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Library and Information Center at Dharma Drum Buddhist College in Taiwan, where he supervises various projects concerning the digitization of Buddhist culture. - ed.]
