Supplied note: "We would like to announce the commencement of a database on the University of Washington website that may be of interest to you: The Center for Central Asian Literatures in Translation (CCALT), located at [the URL below].
Recently announced earlier this month at the 20th Annual Nicholas Poppe Symposium held at the UW [http://depts.washington.edu/silkroad/upcoming.html - ed.], CCALT's aim is to provide access to high-quality translations of literature from throughout the Central Asian region, focusing on Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Tuva, Uzbekistan, and Xinjiang, as well as developing a cross-linked online database of relevant supplementary information. Our new database offers a framework for input and collaboration in the form of discussions on specific texts or related topics as well as the collaborative revision of translations. - ccalt."
