East Asia Integration Studies
HSS & ASEM Institute for International Relations, Seoul, Republic of Korea
Self-description:
"East Asia Integration Studies, a online portal initiated by the Hanns-Seidel Stiftung Korea and the Seoul ASEM Institute for International Relations. The Hanns-Seidel Stiftung (HSS) [http://www.hss.or.kr/ - ed.] is working in the field of political education as it is founded as a political foundation. Its motive is 'to serve democracy, peace and development'. The mission of the foundation varies among the countries which were chosen for continuous projects. So one aspect of the project in the Republic of Korea is to transfer knowledge about the recunification in Germany to Koreans - particularly to those near the demilitarized zone."
