Self-description: " [The bibliography] was created to facilitate both advanced and preliminary research in the study of legal traditions in India and beyond that are associated with Hinduism. The field separates into two primary groups, classical and modern, with the former dominated by Indologists and the latter dominated by colonial and postcolonial historians and legal professionals. The bibliography intends to increase collaboration between these groups. The bibliography is cooperative in nature and relies on the input of its users to improve accuracy and increase the detail of its entries.
