Chinese Martial Studies Research: a selection of papers by Stanley E. Henning
Hawaii Karate Seinenkai, Hikari Institute, Aiea, Hawaii, US
Suplied note: "[Regarding your] Asian Studies Virtual Library [http://coombs.anu.edu.au/WWWVL-AsianStudies.html]. [...] I have noticed one small area that can get lost in such a massive effort -- martial arts history. I think it gets smothered in the process of categorization, often being lost among modern martial arts schools, religions, etc. [...] I've attached my bibliography on Chinese martial arts (there are references to the so-called Korean and Japanese martial arts in my writings as well) for your consideration - I've spent 30 plus years studying the subject as an independent scholar. - seh."
