Self-description:
"The Centre for Indo-Canadian Studies [est. It will enhance the economic contribution of the Indo-Canadian community in BC. It will be a place for a wide range of learning activities and resource materials. The Centre will become a national information repository, and a site for valuable social, cultural, and economic research.
The Centre for Indo-Canadian Studies will be a catalyst for transforming UCFV into a place that reflects the diversity in our region. Its work and programming will build upon existing courses in UCFV's history, English, social work, philosophy, agriculture, and criminal justice programs, as well as our Punjabi language courses."
