Pakistani Madrasas Defy Musharraf

Extract: "The Pakistani madrasas have once again defied President General Pervez Musharraf and refused to carry out the orders issued by him after the London explosions of July 7, 2005, asking them to expel all foreign students except Afghans by midnight on December 31, 2005, and to stop admitting any more foreign students, except Afghans. 2. They have been supported in their defiance by Al Qaeda, the International Islamic Front (IIF), the fundamentalist religious parties constituting the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) and the Government of the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP), which is constituted by the MMA - b. raman."
