Second National Congress on Korean Studies, Aug 2006
Center for Korean Studies, Department of Asian and Pacific Studies, National University of La Plata, La Plata, Argentina
Supplied note:
"The Argentinean Association of Korean Studies invites you to The Second National Congress of Korean Studies, Organized by the Center for Korean Studies, National University of La Plata, La Plata, Argentina
SECOND NATIONAL CONGRESS OF KOREAN STUDIES
KOREA AND ARGENTINA
Mutual perceptions from a regional perspective
August 24th and 25th, 2006
Thematic axis
This Second Congress is aiming to deepen the knowledge gathered during the First Congress through the promotion of a wide call for those who are interested in giving new visions about the linkages between Korea and Argentina. Due to the level of development of Korean studies in Argentina, the Argentinean Association of Korean Studies (AAEC) considers that a wide call for papers would be much better in order to present different areas of knowledge.
However, during their meetings, the Congress aspires to reflect a regional perspective of the Korean relationships; in other words, it aims to inspire the new papers to include their own local perspective of the relations between Korea and Argentina. We would like to show in the Congress a federal perspective, from North to South and from West to East.
