"The Australian Society of Indonesian Language Educators (ASILE) is holding a conference this July [July 3 - 5, 2005 - ed.] at Curtin University in Perth to discuss issues regarding Indonesian language, culture and current events. This gathering would be interesting and useful for people with an interest in Indonesia, it's language and society. This conference's theme, "Jembatan: Crossing Bridges" expresses the conference's goals in terms of inproving Indonesian-Australian understanding and relations. It presents an opportunity to share ideas and hear the views of Indonesian teachers and scholars from both Indonesia and Australia in a relaxed atmosphere.
