Supplied note: "The South Asian Strategic Stability Unit (SASSU) was established in February 2004 as a specialist research Unit within the Bradford Disarmament Research Centre [BDRC]. Over the past 10 years the BDRC, based in the internationally renowned Department of Peace Studies, the worlds largest academic centre exclusively for the study of peace and conflict, has been at the forefront of WMD arms control and disarmament research.
Launch Conference
The launch conference [entitled 'Towards Strategic Stability in South Asia' - ed.] of the South Asian Strategic Stability Unit (SASSU) will take place on October 7th and 8th 2004 at the University of Bradford, UK. - smw."
