Supplied note: "Call For Papers - The Ninth International Conference on Thai Studies. Northern Illinois University invites your participation in the Ninth ICTS April 3-6, 2005 in DeKalb, Illinois, USA. The Conference will embrace a broad definition of Thai Studies to include studies of all ethnic groups within the Kingdom of Thailand, as well as Thai/Tai peoples of Southeast Asia, India and China. See [the URL below] for a full listing of themes and paper guidelines. Two themes: the Thaksin government and Southern Thailand will be given special focus at this conference.
