Supplied note:
"The Zhang zhung Studies Forum is an interdisciplinary academic and scholarly forum designed to promote discussion and exchange of information, and more in particular of new research data, on the broad topic of Zhang zhung and so-called 'early Bon culture'. It invites expertise about the regions of larger Western Tibet (which besides present-day mNga' ris also includes parts of North India such as northern regions in Himachal Pradesh; north-western Nepal; Ladakh; and the like) and relevant bordering regions, such as, other ethnic Tibetan regions of China, ethnic Chinese regions in the western provinces of China, the Himalayan range, Central Asia, and areas to the west of western Tibet. Participation is encouraged from all relevant disciplines, such as anthropology, archaeology, geography, history, linguistics, natural sciences, religious studies, sociology, textual studies, etc. Participation in this forum implies that intellectual rights to research data and unpublished materials that are shared on the forum will be respected and submissions will be properly referenced when quoted (forum, author, title (if available) and date).
