"The Asian Studies Association of Australia (coombs.anu.edu.au/ASAA/) invites you to participate in the 15th Biennial Conference in Canberra in mid-2004. The conference will be held [29 June-2 July 2004 - ed.] in Canberra's National Convention Centre and is an opportunity to showcase current work in any aspect of Asian Studies. The conference therefore will address a wide variety of themes, including religious change, political authority, migration, terror and violence, architecture, poverty and wealth creation, gender, bilateral trade agreements and the state of the profession."
