Law and Governance: Socialist Transforming Vietnam, Jun 2003
Asian Law Centre (ALC), University of Melbourne, Australia
Self-description:
"'Law and Governance:
Socialist Transforming Vietnam,'
The University of Melbourne,
12-13 June, 2003.
The Asian Law Centre at the University of Melbourne, together with the School of Law at Deakin University, will convene a two-day international conference at the University of Melbourne on 12 and 13 June 2003.
Bringing together experts and international commentators, the conference aims to explore how socialism affects the shape and form of legal change in transitional Vietnam. To date, there has not been an explicit focus on the impact of socialism on Vietnam's legal reforms and its investigation is timely."
