"The Indonesia Council is an area-based sub-division of the Asian Studies Association of Australia (ASAA) [http://coombs.anu.edu.au/ASAA/] open to all persons with an interest in the study of Indonesia.
On 29-30 September 2003 the Indonesia Council will hold its second Open Conference [ICOC 2003]. This multi-disciplinary conference provides a forum for the presentation of new and innovative work on Indonesia, with particular emphasis on the involvement of newer Indonesianists and postgraduate students.
The 2003 conference will be hosted by the Australian National University with the support of the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies (RSPAS) and the Indonesia Project, Division of Economics, RSPAS. - ej."
