The Gender Relations Centre, at the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, the Australian National University, invites expressions of interest and proposals for papers for a workshop on gender, socialism and globalization in Vietnam and China. The workshop is to be held at the ANU in Canberra on the 25-26 November 2003. It will address issues relating to gender relations in two East Asian socialist societies undergoing market liberalization and globalization. - jp."
