"We are pleased to announce the launch of the International Humanitarian
Law Research Portal. This portal, the fifth in a series of regional and
thematic portals developed by our Program, is now available on-line at [the URL below]
The Portal provides free access to a searchable database of links to
current research, reference materials, and regional and international news
on International Humanitarian Law (IHL). We believe this new portal will
provide essential support in these critical times in the development of
IHL.
Currently, over 1,000 documents have been collected for your access and
the list is growing daily. These documents include breaking news stories,
reports and analysis, links to key legal instruments, resolutions and
directives and judicial decisions. You can find military manuals, domestic
legislation, ICJ and International Tribunal Cases related to IHL. The
Portal also includes information about organizations and specialists in
the field as well as IHL related events.
