"The new Pew Global Attitudes report merits discussion. 38,000 people in 44
nations were surveyed between July and October of this year. Nearly 12,000
of these people were in 9 Asian nations (Bangladesh, China, India,
Indonesia, Japan, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea, and Vietnam). The
complete report is available at: http://people-press.org. To aid teachers
and students, we've extracted much of the information about Asia and
assembled it into a series of pages [with descriptive statistics - ed.] showing what those surveyed think about
