The Internet in India and China - a 2002 study
First Monday, University of Illinois at Chicago and the University's Library, Chicago, IL, USA
Self-description:
"'The Internet in India and China' by Larry Press, William Foster, Peter Wolcott, and William McHenry [in, First Monday, volume 7, number 10 (October 2002) - ed.],
This article compares the diffusion of the Internet in China and India. Using a six-dimension framework for
characterizing the state of the Internet in a nation, we observe that, while both nations have made significant progress
since our last comparison (in 1999), China enjoys a substantial lead over India."
