Site description: International Journal of
"[...] an international periodical [edited by Choi Han-Woo, IACD - hbp] for languages, literature, history, culture,
society and archaeology of the Central Asia which comprises of the Altaic World and its vicinity,
i.e., Turkey, Hungary, Caucasus, the Soviet Central Asia, Siberia, Eastern Turkistan, Tibet,
Mongolia, Manchu, Korean Peninsula and Japan, etc. The journal is focusing on the Altaic
World, encouraging comparative studies among the Altaic peoples as well as between the Altaic
civilization and the other neighbouring civilizations, i.e., Chinese, India, Uralic, Arab, and so on. English
and German are preferred for the language for the journal, but in some particular cases Russian and Turkish are acceptable too."
