Self-description: "We want to introduce the people, arts and cultures of South Thailand between the Thai and Malay Worlds on the Golden Peninsula. On the homepage, you will get to know the research projects and publications of Alexander Horstmann and Ryoko Nishii. In addition, the homepage [est. Aug 2000 - ed.] provides a space for researchers who are interested in the region. The reader is furnished with details on the South Thailand agenda and a detailed bibliography on the anthropology and sociology of South Thailand.
