Supplied note:
"This special issue of 'AyurVijnana' focuses on the history and revival of traditional Mongolian medicine -
the dynamism between tradition and innovation. The articles, mostly written by Mongolian authors,
offer a deep insight into the education of traditional Mongolian doctors, their curriculum in different schools,
discussions on medicinal plants and manufacturing of Mongolian medicines, problems of plant conservation
and Tibetan-Mongolian medical literature accompanied by interviews with Mongolian doctors.
This issue [with 108 pages] also includes summaries of two doctoral theses, brief biographies of Mongolian physicians,
a summary of the Hohhot conference in 2001, and a documentation of an expedition to modern
health-care facilities and traditional bone setters in the Gobi desert.
Detailed list of contents and the editorial can be seen on the ITTM website at: www.kreisels.com/ittm - bg."
