Vegetation Changes in East Timor 1989 -1999

Self-description: "Assessing Vegetation Change in East Timor Using Landsat Thematic Mapper Data. This study [by George Bouma and Halina Kobryn finds that between 1989 and 1999] [...] There was a decline in dense forest, forest and [particularly in] woodland areas [...]. Increases in human modified plantation areas and coffee areas were also apparent. However, the largest single increase occurred in the degraded woodlands category."
