Supplied note: "The 5th International Conference on Asian Digital Libraries (ICADL 2002) Date: 11-14 December 2002. Hosts: Division of Information Studies, School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in collaboration with the NTU Library, National Library Board of Singapore, and the Library Association of Singapore. Theme: Digital Libraries: People, Knowledge and Technology. Participation from diverse backgrounds is encouraged. Previous conferences have included practitioners, researchers, educators and policy makers from a variety of disciplines such as computer science, library and information sciences, archival and museum studies, knowledge management, and many areas in the social sciences and humanities. Submissions on all areas are welcome and may include research, system, evaluation, policy and position papers. [...] Call for papers: Both full papers [approx. 6,000 words] and short papers [approx. 1500 words] will be accepted. [...] Conference proceedings will be published as part of Springer Verlag's Lecture Notes in Computer Science series. Selected papers from the conference will be published in a special issue of Information Processing and Management."
