Supplied note: "The Centre [...] [Founded by the ven. Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche - ed.] provides a unique opportunity to study in a manner that combines Buddhist monastic scholarship and the academic principles of a modern university. Students at the program develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Buddhist philosophy as well as fluency in both classical and colloquial Himalayan languages. The Centre, located on the grounds of Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery in Boudhanath, Nepal, offers a four-year program leading to a BA degree in Buddhist Studies with Himalayan Language. Course offerings include: Buddhist Philosophy, Tibetan, Nepali & Sanskrit languages, Buddhist Ritual & Meditation, and Translation Projects."
