Afghan Map Resource
National Geographic Society, Washington, D.C, USA
Supplied note:
"National Geographic has just released up-to-the-moment maps of Afghanistan, more accurate than many other resources. Through the aid of government sources, National Geographic cartographers worked tirelessly to release these definitive maps of the region. The maps delineate Afghan cities, rivers, mountains, and airports. The maps also boast satellite images of Afghanistan, including a historical timeline spanning from 1842 to the present conflict. Mini-maps of Taliban and Northern Alliance strongholds and refugee camps are also covered."
