"SANEI is a regional initiative to foster networking among economic
research institutes in South Asia. Initiated in June 1998, the network
seeks to establish strong research interlinkages among diverse
economic research institutes in the region. [...] SANEI has a
membership of 40 research institutes in the South Asia region. There
are 8 research institutes from Bangladesh, 18 from India, 3 from
Nepal, 7 from Pakistan and 4 from Sri Lanka. [...] SANEI is part of
the Global Development Network (GDN) - a collaborative initiative of
development institutions globally."
