The journal functions as a scholarly avenue for the publication of research findings and informed opinions. Submissions should be on any aspect of religion or philosophy in China (past or present) with the emphasis on the four teachings: Buddhism, Daojia, Daoism and Confucianism. Short translations of texts accompanied with analysis, research findings, book reviews, doctrinal inquires, historic studies, etc., will all be acceptable."
