Site contents: The Asia section contains the description of recent incidents concerning journalists and press freedom in China, Hong Kong, and other parts of Asia. The 2000 Annual Report / Asia contains information on countries of that continent. "[O]n 1 January 2000, Asia was the continent with the most journalists in jail. Burma, where 13 media professionals are behind bars, is the worldıs biggest prison for the press. Journalists are also being held in China (9), Vietnam (4), Nepal (at least 3), Pakistan (1) and South Korea (1)."
