Supplied note: "A short, intensive travel-study course oriented around a three-four week experience in Nepal. The 'winterim' falls between the typical Fall and Spring semester terms at US Universities and Colleges. [...] the course begins the third week of December and returns the third week of January. The course involves a 6-day long stay in a small village 1 hour (35 km) east of Kathmandu, home-stays with Nepalese families in Kathmandu, and a 5-day trek in the Annapurna region."
