Council Study Centers in China
Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE),
New York, NY, USA
Supplied note:
"The CIEE offers programs
throughout greater China including Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, and
Taipei, Taiwan and that draw upon the strengths of each location and
encourage students to explore each city's historical, cultural, and
economic importance. Given the complex nature of China and Taiwan, one
can only expect to scratch the surface during a term of study. In
order to gain a deeper understanding of China and Taiwan, it is
recommended that students spend an academic year at one site or study
at more than one location if possible."
