Supplied note: "The Project (founded in 1993 at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst) aims at a philological re-examination of the classical texts and their historical interpretation. Resources at the site include a methodology summary, ongoing updates on the results of this work, an Analects for Dummies feature (with future parallels for other classical texts), an online Newsletter, information on semiannual Conferences and permanent E-mail discussions, a self-study course for classical Chinese without prerequisite in modern Chinese, a Rural Archaeology Center for information on research into the ancient economy, and lists of resources relating to the Warring States period."
