Satellite night image of Korea
Duke University, N.Carolina, USA
Supplied note:
"A multi layer image taken at night by a U.S. satellite and acquired
by the Korea China Atmospheric Science Center shows North Korea
practically devoid of lights with the exception of Pyongyang and
Shinuiju. In contrast South Korea is brightly lit with a major
concentration in Seoul."
[Prof Moo-Young Han's comment: "The 'bright' pattern in the lower
right corner of the image is likely to be an optical aberration.]
